UAE temporary export ban on ferrous, copper and aluminium scrap (Customs Notice 13/2026 / Ministerial Decision 105 of 2026)
حظر مؤقت لتصدير خردة الحديد والنحاس والألمنيوم من الإمارات
The UAE barred exports of ferrous, copper and aluminium scrap from 10 June to 8 October 2026 to keep feedstock at home; the notice rolls over automatically unless a new one is issued, with exemptions only through ministry approval. UAE scrap yards should now sell to local mills and smelters, and exporters to India or Korea need to plan for a possible extension.
