UK deposit return scheme: Exchange for Change names five regional collection/processing contractors

The UK DRS operator has awarded regional collection contracts ahead of an October 2027 launch, with new processing sites at Ely, Knowsley and Avonmouth due by 2030. This will create a large new stream of clean aluminium cans and PET; can-sheet makers, remelters and PET recyclers should talk to the named contractors about offtake.
